The latest addition to the DX Series brings Final’s refined engineering and natural sound to a more accessible level.
Tokyo, UK – 13th November 2025: Final announces the DX3000CL, the latest model to join its growing DX Series of headphones. Following the success of the DX6000, the DX3000CL introduces the first closed-back design in the range – bringing the same dedication to precision, balance and musical depth to a broader audience.
Developed in Japan, the DX3000CL continues Final’s pursuit of purity in sound reproduction. It delivers a smooth, natural tonal balance, with clear midrange, open treble and a rich, tightly controlled low-end that captures the warmth and realism listeners associate with the brand.
The Final DX3000CL will be available from 13th November 2025 via selected global retailers, from £579.99 / € 599.99 / $599.99

A new expression of the DX sound
The DX Series was created to bring Final’s high-end acoustic philosophy to dynamic-driver headphone design. With the DX3000CL, that vision extends into a closed-back form for the first time, offering a headphone that preserves the sonic integrity of the DX6000 while introducing a new tuning and lighter, more compact build.
At its heart lies a 40 mm Paper–Carbon Composite dynamic driver, developed to deliver a fast, articulate sound while maintaining organic texture and tone. The free-edge surround structure reduces unwanted resonance and allows the diaphragm to move with precision and control, resulting in effortless, natural sound reproduction.
Every aspect of the DX3000CL has been engineered in-house by Final’s team in Japan – from the acoustic design of the housing to the tactile feel of the finish – ensuring that even at this level, the craftsmanship remains unmistakably Final.
Refined design, built for comfort
With a lightweight chassis, softly padded earpads and carefully balanced headband pressure, the DX3000CL is designed for hours of comfortable listening. Its closed-back structure provides excellent isolation without losing openness, making it suitable for home, studio or portable use.
Engineering without compromise
As with every Final headphone, the DX3000CL has been developed through an uncompromising approach to design and measurement. Rather than chasing exaggerated frequency response or artificial detail, Final focuses on the natural behaviour of the driver itself — allowing sound to emerge with the balance and clarity intended by the artist.
This approach defines the DX3000CL. From the composition of its Paper–Carbon diaphragm to the precision of its acoustic chambers, every element is the result of extensive research and countless hours of testing. The outcome is a headphone that translates the emotion and realism of the recording with accuracy, ease and unmistakable Final character.

About Final
Established in 2007, Final began as a subsidiary of the major American connector brand; in 2014, it became independent through an MBO by the current management team. Now is what you would call, its second formation.Products such as earphones and headphones belong to a category known as current electrical appliances whose value is the greatest when they are brand new. We, however, would like to create earphones and headphones that people have an affinity for and continue to use in much the same way they have with a mechanical wristwatch, the kind that will be valued as an antique in the future. To that end, it is necessary to embody the design of the product and how it is considered, including the repair system, as a concrete organization or structure. Our brand concept is simple and has not changed since the company’s inception - “The comprehensive pursuit of things that are fundamentally right”. In our pursuit of this, we have actively adopted cutting-edge technology such as 3D printers. We believe that such a pursuit is what creates a brand.
